Language Arts:

We prepared to transition to book creation from our fiction drafts.

Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.

Social Studies:

We focused on writing an effective Works Cited page of our China essays and work on our power point presentations

Language Arts

1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/

2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.

3. Typed draft of realistic fiction story due to Mr. Joe by today. Consult the John-Jill-Geronimo checklist on the H drive by remote access.

4. Bring in $2.25 for blank books for our short fiction stories.

Social Studies

1.Current Events Week 4'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday June 3. Responses by June 5. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.
