Language Arts:

We continued to type the drafts of our fiction stories.

Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.

Social Studies:

We continued to research and write the first drafts of our China essays and work on our power point presentations

Homework

Language Arts

1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/

2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.

3. Typed draft of realistic fiction story due to Mr. Joe by Monday June 1. Consult the John-Jill-Geronimo checklist on the H drive by remote access.

4. Bring in $2.25 for blank books for our short fiction stories.

Social Studies

1.Current Events Week 3'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday May 27. Responses by May 29. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.
