Language Arts:

We continued to draft our fiction stories.

Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.

Social Studies:

We researched facts about our China topics and emailed them to Mr. Joe.

1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/

2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.

Social Studies

1.Current Events Week 1'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday May 13. Responses by May 15. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.

2. BONUS opportunities! Moodle Sports and Entertainment Current Events.

3. Complete China research for today and email to Mr. Joe.You should have emailed Mr. Joe twice by now with at least three facts you found yesterday and three from today.
