All Books and Materials Due Friday June 5! If you have any Red Reading Books, History Alive Books or China novels bring them in.

What we did in class today:

Language Arts:

We continued to transition to book creation from our fiction drafts.

Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.

Social Studies:

We focused on writing an effective Works Cited page of our China essays and work on our power point presentations

Homework

Language Arts

1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/

2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.

3. Bring in $2.25 for blank books for our short fiction stories.

Social Studies

1.Current Events Week 4'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday June 3. Responses by June 5. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.
