All Books and Materials Overdue! If you have any Red Reading Books, History Alive Books or China novels bring them in. Also, if you have not given $2.25 to Mr. Joe for your blank book, please turn that in.

We concluded our Author's Celebration on Tuesday.
Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.
Social Studies:
We wrapped up our China essays and power point presentations.

Language Arts
1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/
2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.
3. Bring in $2.25 for blank books for our short fiction stories.
Social Studies
1.Current Events for the summer: I will open a Summer Current Events Forum for anyone wishing to post articles and comments. We will begin again with our weekly schedule in the fall.
