All Books and Materials Due Friday June 5! If you have any Red Reading Books, History Alive Books or China novels bring them in. Also, if you have not given $2.25 to Mr. Joe for your blank book, please turn that in.

What we did in class today:
Language Arts:
We continued to create our books in anticipation of our Author's Celebration on Tuesday.
Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.
Social Studies:
We continued to wrap up our China essays and power point presentations.
Homework
Language Arts
1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/
2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.
3. Bring in $2.25 for blank books for our short fiction stories.
Social Studies
1.Current Events Week 4'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday June 3. Responses by June 5. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.
