Political Parties and Platforms






What we did in class today...

In social studies we examined the democratic election process in the United States and categorized different kinds of elections.

In language arts we practiced organizing expository essays and articulated the importance of beginning with at least three examples for every idea. We call this "Gimme 3."

Homework…

Reading:

Read a book of your choosing for at least 20 minutes.

Homeroom:

1. Study your part (if you have one) for the Character Education presentation on Friday.

2. Read, sign and return
"Kids' Rules for Online Safety" that parents will receive at Curriculum Night on Thursday night.
