From Silk to Wool and More

What we did in class today...

The students studied the steps in the production of silk and wool in various cities along the Silk Road. They created eight-step graphic organizers which illustrated these processes.

The students brainstormed small objects of importance to them, and used these objects as springboards to story.

I was absent from school today. I participated in a charity golf outing for New Horizons Rehabilitation Services of Michigan. My cousin is a client at New Horizons, which means he is employed by them in a sheltered work setting. I'll be back on Monday.
