Language Arts:

We reviewed a broad-base of reading and writing skills and strategies.

Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.

Social Studies:We continued our study of the geography of China.

Language Arts

1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/

2. Write for at least five minutes on your Daily Writing Blog on your Weebly site. Write your choice of genre: narrative, expository, poetry, media reviews, memoir, et. al.

3. Read Packets for Sojourner are due for 505 on Tuesday 4-28 and 507 on Thursday 4-30.

4. Mr. Seefelt Essays: Read your Mr. Seefelt essay aloud for your parent(s) and answer question on Moodle at 5/6 Everyone #22. Due Tuesday April 28.

Social Studies

1.Current Events Week 3'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday April 29. Responses by May 1. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.

2. Read China Book Club Book. Assessment for 505 AND 507 (note change) on Thursday April 30.
