Language Arts:
We analyzed and wrote about a portion of All Summer in a Day by Ray Bradbury.
Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit. Congratulations to Kory Gilbert and Alison John who will be published in the next edition!
Social Studies:
We reviewed our study guide on Buddhism in anticipation of the test tomorrow.
Homework
Language Arts
1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/
2. R&E #4 - Due week of February 9. Practice your book commercial at least three times.
3. Complete pages 1-17 in blue packet by Wednesday January 14, 2009.
Social Studies
1. Current Events Week 3'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday January 14. Responses by January 16. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.
2. Study for Buddhism test tomorrow by reviewing study guide from today's class.
