3.Why are there so few written records of Jesus’ life (besides the gospels) short life, only a carpenter, common person
4.What’s a parable and why did Jesus use them? simple stories because they are easier to understand than big ideas about God
5.What would the kingdom of God be like, according to Jesus? Following God’s rules and wishes, all would be happy
6.What were the differences between Romans and Christians in the following areas: religion, wealth, helping others C: one God, poor, help others R: many Gods, luxury, not necessary

Thursday on My Mind


I will be leaving Friday morning for Washington DC for the inauguration. Mr. David Lumsden will be our guest teacher Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I will return on Thursday. I will be keeping an inauguration blog at mrjoeindc.blogspot.com.
I will be offering bonus points to any student who posts comments to my inauguration blog between today and Wednesday night. I will also be checking email on my trip.
