What we did in class today:
Language Arts:
We finished the first draft of our essays and emailed them to Mr. Joe. We are also posting the text to the Language Arts page of our Weebly site and along with a podcast of ourselves reading the text.
Creative Communications is an optional poetry and essay contest for our kids. Extra credit will be given. I'm available to edit.
Social Studies:
We continued our study of ancient India and different aspects of Hinduism.

1. Read 20 minutes. Post your reading to the reading log on http://56reading.wikispaces.com/
2. R&E #3 - Due week of January 5. Practice your book commercial at least three times.
Social Studies
Current Events Week 1'ers. Post to Moodle by Wednesday December 17. Responses by December 19. Ask your student for details. The assignment is clearly explained on Moodle.
