Writing - We had a visit today by author Scott Newport, his son Evan, and Evan's nurse (see photo.) Scott talked about his life a s a writer and being the parent of a child with severe special needs. Visit Scott's blog here. Ask your child for the details!

Word Study (Grammar, Vocabulary, Spelling) -

Social Studies

We began an examination of a play about the Boston Massacre.

Language Arts:

1. Read a book of your choosing for at least 20 minutes.

2. R&E #8 due May 20. All student blogs should be regularly updated.

3. Share the details of our visit today but Scott Newport with parents and one other person.
