Mr. Joe is back in town! He will be back with the class tomorrow morning and full of stories about his trip! Here is a summary of our work in class today and the homework:

Language Arts:

• We visited the Media Center today for check-out
• Grammar packets were corrected and collected. They will be returned tomorrow for use as a study guide.
• Grammar quiz on Thursday, 12/06
• Read for 20 minutes every day
• R&E #3 due 12/18/07

Social Studies:

• Discussion in class about secondary sources (we discussed primary sources yesterday)
• Reading of first 20 pages of Amos Fortune, Free Man, the 1951 Newberry Award winner. In-class drawing/writing about our impressions as we listened.
